Our Story

In September 2024, what began as a simple wood hutch at the end of the driveway turned into something special. Dana started by sharing her homemade sourdough bread—a skill she had just taught herself—alongside cookies, cinnamon rolls, and fresh garden vegetables. What she thought might bring joy to just a few neighbors quickly grew into a community favorite.

Friends, family, and neighbors fell in love with the nostalgic charm of the little roadside stand. Even through the winter, the demand for warm bread and fresh-baked cookies continued.

As Dana continued to perfect her sourdough craft and preserve timeless family recipes, it became clear that these creations were meant to reach more people.

Now, we’re bringing Racine a fresh new space—a bakery and deli inspired by the warmth of Italian markets, blending old-world tradition with a modern touch.
